New Classes Beginning in September |
Art for Kids with Erin Hinson
Ongoing class beginning September 7th for kids 5 -12 years of age. This mixed media class is designed to provide all children with the basics of art and allow them to explore their individual preferences of subject matter and medium.
Dates: Every Tuesday through December
Time:3:30 to 5:00 PM
Cost: $20 per class
Class is limited to 12 students
Open Art with Erin Hinson

Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Cost: $20 per class
Class is limited to 12 students
Dance Technique Workshop with Carson Rudisill-Capps
Four week technical workshop for dance students in 7th grade & above
Dates: September 14th, 21st , 28th and October 5th
Time: 4:00 to 5:00 PM
Cost $70 for the series
Class is limited to 10 students
Piano Lessons with Jonathan Barber
Ongoing classes on Monday - Thursday

The Community Arts Center will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2010 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

The Community Arts Center is located in the Hannah Block Historic USO at 120 South Second Street in historic downtown Wilmington, NC. The facility includes five studios (including a dance studio) that are available to nonprofit organizations for rehearsals of plays, musicals and recitals.
The studios are also used for classes in a variety of artistic disciplines. The building is also home to the acclaimed Orange Street Potters and the Second Street Stage, an auditorium with a stage and technical loft used for rehearsals and performances. The facility, which includes a kitchen, may be rented for corporate and private functions as well. Please see “Policies for Use of Space” for more information.
