Special Announcement
Thalian Association is proud to announce that the HBHUSO/CAC was awarded a $2000.00 grant from Corning Inc. This funding will be used to install a dance floor in the Lower Atrium Studio. This is one of our largest spaces and has been underutilized because of a concrete floor. Thanks to the generous grant from Corning, Inc. countless more children, adults and performance groups will be able to rehearse and perform in our Community Arts Center.
Corning Incorporated Foundation resources are directed to improving the quality of life in the communities where Corning Inc. is a responsible and active corporate citizen. Corning Inc. opened the world's first optical fiber manufacturing facility in Wilmington in 1979. Today it is the largest optical fiber plant in the world.
